The books are available in braille, on audiocassette, or recorded discs. The approximately 400 titles listed were produced in Florida or obtained from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. The bibliography, which was prepared in conjunction with the State Library of Florida's Summer Library program for 1991, is built around a safari theme. The items are further divided by these themes: (1) African safari; (2) jungle safari; (3) animal safari; (4) dinosaur safari; (5) distant safari; and (6) backyard safari. Each annotation indicates the grade level for which the book or recording is appropriate. The bibliography also contains an author index and a title index. An order form is included. The bibliography is set in large print and is also available on cassette or in braille. (KRN) |
