This newsletter reports on cooperative national and international preservation activities and is written primarily for university administrators and faculty, library and archives administrators, preservation specialists and administrators, and representatives of consortia, governmental bodies, and other groups sharing Commission on Preservation and Access goals. Topics addressed by the 1992 issues include: (1) organizational activities, such as task force reports and conferences; (2) funding opportunities; (3) grants awarded to the commission and a list of institutional sponsors; (4) reviews of research and scientific reports on topics pertaining to preservation; (5) activities of allied organizations; and (6) preservation programs abroad.
