These awards support networking and resource-sharing activities and are made primarily to academic libraries, although state and public libraries and other non-profit organizations are eligible. Also included are several institutions receiving grants under the categories of (1) non-competing continuations, and (2) biotechnology education information demonstration project grants. The listing format includes the following information: college name, address, and phone number(s); the appropriated amount and number of years involved; and the name and description of the project. Also included is a summary listing of the colleges and universities receiving grants, the amount funded, and subtotals of funding in each category. (GLR) |
