Scenarios are used to illustrate possible applications. Detailed graphics throughout the book provide configurations and illustrations of hardware, software, and the like. Chapters contain contact information for software and hardware vendors, up-to-date reference materials, and glossaries. The book is also designed for use in conjunction with in-service technology training. To facilitate in-service workshops, each chapter was written to be independent of the others. Each chapter includes a camera-ready brochure, summarizing the topic, which can be copied and distributed for educational purposes.
