Sources of funding to support research are listed first, including the university and the university library, the state (Colorado Endowment for Humanities), and national sources (American Library Association, Council on Library Resources, OCLC, Special Libraries Association, National Endowment for Humanities, and Association for Library and Information Science Education). On-campus computing services that provide statistical analysis and word processing are described, together with workshops for training in computer use. Three sources of consultants for library research are also noted, as well as sources for editorial assistance, assistance in getting release time for research, and rules and regulations affecting research at Colorado University.
