Academic Libraries Administrators Conferences Donors Grants Higher Education Library Cooperation Library Materials Organizational Communication Preservation This document consists of all 11 issues of this newsletter published in 1993 (November-December was a combined issue). The newsletter reports on cooperative national and international preservation activities and is written primarily for university administrators and faculty, library and archives administrators, preservation specialists and administrators, and representatives of consortia, governmental bodies, and other groups sharing Commission on Preservation and Access goals. Topics covered in the 1993 issues include: (1) organizational activities, such as special projects and conferences; (2) grants received by the commission and their purposes; (3) reviews of research and scientific reports on topics pertaining to preservation; (4) related activities conducted by other organizations and institutions; and (5) preservation programs abroad. Inserts on special topics are included in two of the newsletters: "Opto-Electronic Storage--An Alternative to Filming?" (Hartmut Weber) and "Implications of Electronic Formats for Preservation Administrators" (Peter Jermann). (KRN)
