The funding supports research library projects designed to make certain rare and unique materials more accessible. This is accomplished through three major kinds of activities: bibliographic control, preservation, and collection development. This document contains abstracts of the projects funded in FY 1991 listed alphabetically by institution. The information provided in the abstracts includes: institution; project director(s); program focus; grant period; FY 1991 funding; grant number; and title and description of the project. An analysis of the FY 1991 applications and grantees is also presented. Tables and figures of project statistics are appended. (JLB) |
