The looseleaf notebook format allows the user to add information and pages and personalize the materials. This volume is devoted to high school grades 9 through 12. The 59 lesson plans for teaching information and library skills to high school students are grouped into the following sections: (1) "Basic Library Foundations" such as designing library lesson plans and bibliographic instruction; (2) "Connecting with the Curriculum" and researching with nonprint materials; (3) "Putting Research Strategies to Work" including using primary and secondary materials; (4) "Connecting with Technology" and teaching boolean search skills; and (5) "The Future" in terms of the librarian's role and instructional tools.
