Data are provided for the following disciplines: Geography; Geology; History; Home Economics; Library Science; Mathematics; Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies; Music; Nursing (Registered Nurse Training); Philosophy and Religion; Physical Sciences; Physics; Political Science; Protective Services; Psychology; Reading Teacher Education; Sociology; Special Education; Speech Pathology and Audiology; Teacher Education; and Visual and Performing Arts. In addition to listing the average salaries in the 21 individual academic disciplines/major field for both public and private participating institutions by rank, comparisons are made in each of the disciplines between the two public surveys and the two private surveys for each of the two study years and with the Consumer Price Index of changes in cost-of-living. Appendixes list all disciplines and participating institutions. (JB) |
