The book also presents excerpts from a sample research paper to illustrate the parenthetical reference method and the traditional footnote method. It also discusses how to avoid plagiarism and how to master the library. Appendixes define research terms and discuss library classification systems, reference materials, abbreviations used in research, Roman numerals, and basic punctuation. (RS)
