The following aspects of the documents collection are outlined: federal depository status; bibliographic control; maintenance; human resources; physical facilities; public service; and cooperative efforts. A copy of the library's collection development policy is provided, detailing the following: discipline/department; librarians; programmatic information; modifiers; formats; cooperative agreements; special consideration; and selection tools. The process of using Innovacq for the creation of bibliographic records for government documents is outlined. A list and descriptions of Innovacq record fixed fields, including prompted and non-prompted fields, to be used in the creation of records for federal documents are provided. Also included are: a letter to the librarian describing and encouraging the purchase of MARCIVE tapes; a survey of Illinois depository cataloging needs; a letter answering several questions about MARCIVE records; results of the 1993 survey of depository libraries' cataloging needs; reproductions of 1993 paper shipping lists; a rough draft of government documents CD-ROM circulation policy; a list of University of Illinois documents conferences, meetings, and field trips; Milner Library training sessions; and circulation statistics from 7/1/93 through 10/31/93.
