The project involved a select number of incoming freshmen who lived together in the then-experimental residential college program. Goals included mastery of basic library and computer skills, gaining familiarity with Internet resources, and integration of technology into the classroom and residence hall experience. The final project was an electronic research paper on the World Wide Web, developed by class members, which linked their own personal research and writing with others in the group. (AEF)
