The writing of creative verse or folklore can emphasize ongoing lessons and units of study. Writing should stress positive attitudes and feelings of the involved learners. Diverse learning opportunities assist pupils to acquire relevant facts, concepts, generalizations, and main ideas so necessary in writing. Challenge and encouragement from the teacher should guide pupils to make continuous progress on an individual and group basis in writing. (CR) |
