The project served a community of over 200,000 people, and targeted potential tutors and learners. The goal of the project was to produce and develop a sustained publicity project to promote the services of Literacy Volunteers of Mid-York. The emphasis was on television and radio commercials, but also included print advertisements that coordinated with the other publicity. The report discusses the creation of the promotional materials, and their impact on the literacy program. (SWC)
