The next section compares actual accomplishments to the following project objectives for 1992-93: (1) set up a literacy office in a branch library, located on the campus of a community college, by January of 1993; (2) increase the number of students being tutored at the branch; (3) increase the number of tutors at the branch and involve the students on the community college campus as tutors; (4) hold workshops in March and July to increase community awareness of literacy needs and to improve expertise of tutors; and (5) conduct a final evaluation of the project. Proposed and actual expenditures are compared. Attachments include photographs, an evaluative report, workshop announcements, and a newspaper clipping. (MES)
