Specifically the book includes: a disk containing World Wide Web resources; instruction in Netscape and Internet Explorer navigation; exercises in using Web search engines and subject directories to find specific information, using Telnet to search library catalogs, using e-mail to join a discussion group, and other information; using file transfer protocol (FTP) to transfer files; and using Gopher to find nongraphical information.
