The goal of the module (to give students a basic knowledge of library resources and to introduce them to Latin America by researching Latin American topics), objectives, instructor's introduction, student learning activities, and sharing of the module are outlined. Also included are: a list of Latin American countries; worksheets for a library catalog assignment, atlases assignment, Internet exercise, and periodical indexes assignment; and a bibliography of recently-acquired books and videos that lists author, title, Dewey Decimal call number, and price.
