This digest describes the ongoing development of PALS. SRI is currently looking for organizations to participate in implementation studies involving the use of PALS. The PALS assessment resource library is designed to help organizations meet the accountability requirements of state education agencies and specially funded programs and to help meet the professional development needs of classroom teachers. As an on-line library alone, PALS is a valuable resource, but there are many benefits to integrating more collaboration support into PALS. SRI plans to integrate an online meeting/discussion component to help the community leverage expertise, regardless of geographic location. (SLD)
