Appendices include the following items: core purposes, planning priorities, and goals for 1997-2000 and a summary of planning priorities and goals for 1998-1999, which includes commitment to excellence, commitment to teaching and learning, emphasis on high quality general education program, commitment to public service, commitment to scholarship for instructional effectiveness, supportive campus climate, campus diversity in faculty, staff, students, and programs, advancing educational purposes through technology, and developing collaborative relationships; and institutional effectiveness.
