  • Arizona College and Career Guide, 1999-2000. Educational Opportunities Institutional Characteristics Postsecondary Education Program Descriptions State Schools This resource guide is an alphabetical listing of information on Arizona's universities, colleges, and career schools. It provides a summary of accreditation including institutional and specialized accreditation, a listing of accrediting agencies, general education development, and student financial aid information. This resource guide begins with an alphabetical listing of Arizona institutes. It then gives a listing of postsecondary sectors, which lists state universities, public community colleges, independent colleges and universities, program-oriented schools and bible and divinity schools, business schools, cosmetology and barber schools, flying schools, health schools, home study and correspondence schools, modeling and fine arts schools, real estate schools, technical and trade schools, and training, employment and skill centers. This resource guide also provides a list of programs of study (such as accounting, astronomy, chemistry, computers and information systems, education, graphic design, finance and banking, library science, social services, and zoology) and the institutions where these majors are offered. It describes new opportunities provided by the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) for 1999-2000. A list of institutions and programs open to eligible WUE students on a space available basis is also outlined. The remaining portion of this resource guide presents each institution's unique admission guidelines, program requirements, and course offerings. (VWC)
