The section on each OG contains an introduction including CEDEFOP's aims, followed by descriptions of research projects relevant to the OG. Each of the 11 project descriptions provides background, work plan 2001, proposed outcomes 2001, and project managers. OG 1, promoting and interpreting research and identification of innovation, covers these 5 projects: reporting system on lifelong learning; promoting competencies for the knowledge society; training of trainers network; learning accessible to all in a changing economy; and mobility and transparency of vocational qualifications. Projects under OG 2, information on vocational education and training (VET), are description and renewal of Member States' VET systems and reference material. OG 3, support to meet the specific needs of CEDEFOP's partners, covers a project to remain a partner in policy formulation and development. Two projects under OG 4, providing forums for debate and links between policymakers, social partners, researchers, and practitioners, are a study visits program and research for policy and debates. The next section discusses information and communication services such as the library and documentation service, electronic media, publications service, translating and editing service, CEDEOP's Brussels office and activities 2001. The final section discusses administration, infrastructure, and organizational support. Appendixes include CEDEFOP's medium-term priorities, budget outline, organizational chart 2001 and statements of the European Training Foundation and EURYDICE). (YLB)
