Two key questions for finding information on the Internet are identified: (1) What are you actually looking for? and (2) Who is likely to have the information? Examples of this approach are provided, and some problems with using search engines are noted. Two Web sites for finding information in the ".gov domain" (government information) are suggested, as well as recommendations for finding sources in the ".org" (organizations), ".edu" (educational), and ".com" (commercial) domains. A Web page from the University of Queensland (Australia) Library that lists recommended Web sites is included. (MES)
