The booktalks can be completed in 1 or 2 minutes, and include suggestions for integrating the books into the classroom curriculum. A single booktalk can be shared with a student in the hallway, or a planned booktalking session can be done in the classroom, accompanied by a book truck. Within a few minutes, numerous booktalks can be shared and books checked out. The books are thoroughly indexed by curriculum connection, genre, subject, title and author, and include annotations that provide additional information about the plot, characters, and setting.
