It also presents a detailed description with examples of how China's public libraries are cultivating citizens' information literacy. The experiences prove that the public library is the proper place to nurture citizens' information literacy, and that information literacy education can promote the exploration and utilization of information resources. In conclusion the paper proposes some practical methods concerning the further improvements in information literacy education. (Contains five references.) (Author) |
