It is essential to recognize that students of today are learning differently than students of the past. Schools are constantly developing their reading programs by accommodating technological advancements directed towards education in order to provide the best possible learning outlets for their students. Digital libraries are one of the most promising outlets through which students are expected to improve their reading capacities and gain a love for reading books. E-books and digital libraries are new fields for researchers and unfortunately, there is limited research on studies about e-books and their impact on students' reading levels. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the use of the Kindle program has impacted students' reading performances and assess how teachers feel about implementing a digital library system in their classrooms. The use of Kindle for instruction will be a focus area for many pursuits in the coming years. This action research study will seek to provide useful data and contribute to future studies on the impact of e-books on students reading level.
