- Canadian Publications in the English Language: CBI vs Canadiana Levis, Joel Bibliographies Books Evaluation Foreign Countries Publications Cumulative Book Index (CBI) purports to list "all books in the English language regardless of the place of origin." This study showed that CBI included only about 74 percent of Canadian English-language publications in a given period and that the appearance of a title was behind its appearance in Canadiana.
