Indexing Information Retrieval Laboratory Manuals Library Materials Library Services Literature Reviews Special Libraries The literature concerning laboratory notebooks is reviewed. A procedure is described for administering laboratory notebooks. Outlined is an indexing system which provides a method for retrieving information by laboratory notebook number, by name, and by general subjects. The indexing scheme is estimated to be adequate for collections up to 5,000 notebooks. (5 references) (Author/NH)
