- Automated Cataloging and Reclassification by ATS Chen, Simon P. J. Cataloging Computer Science Dewey Decimal Classification Library Automation Library Equipment Library of Congress Classification Library Technical Processes Online Systems 250,000 volumes were converted from Dewey to LC by the on-line Administrative Terminal System (ATS) within seven months at Western Kentucky University Library. In turn, new catalog cards, Hollerith book cards, pockets, labels, bibliographies, and catalogs were produced by the automated ATS system. (6 references) (Author/DH)
