- An Assessment of AALS Davis, Donald G. Library Associations Library Education Professional Associations Findings of an investigation into the role of the Association of American Library Schools in library education and factors underlying that role are reported. Resulting criticisms are evaluated in the context of a comparison with analogous organizations in other professions and recommendations for future action and investigation are made.
