The HeLIOS (Hemingway Library Information Online Skills) tutorial, an online tool designed specifically for high school students, may be the answer. For the past two years, students at home, in classrooms, and at libraries throughout Utah have used these lessons to successfully learn library research skills. Additionally, educators, including classroom teachers and school librarians, have used the associated slide shows to successfully present and discuss the application of these skills in hands-on and real-life projects in school classrooms.
