Over time, an e-portfolio will reflect professional changes and growth. This article discusses some of the reasons for a school librarian to create an e-portfolio. Before creating an e-portfolio, librarians need to have a specific purpose in mind and know how the e-portfolio will be used. The reasons for creating electronic versus print are discussed, and a list of free resources for effective e-portfolios are provided. (Contains 1 figure.)
