From March through April 2013, Caitlin Ahearn interned at Sanborn Regional High School (SRHS) under the supervision of Pam Harland. As a result of Harland's un-Deweying of the nonfiction collection at SRHS, Ahearn discovered that QR codes provide an excellent opportunity for librarians to create new pathways for information access. In this article, she explains how she worked with Harland to integrate QR codes into the SRHS collection and offers suggestions on ways librarians can use QR codes to enhance access to their own libraries.
