School librarians who seek a more creative path to inspiring the student learning dispositions embedded in the American Associations of School Librarians (AASL) Standards for the 21st-Century Learner and want a nudge in that direction are advised to follow these simple steps, which are presented in this article: (1) Master Your Domain; (2) Read Widely, Read Wildly; (3) Follow Your Passion; (4) Create Your Path; and (5) Spread the Joy. |
