Being creative involves taking risks and being willing to fail. Sometimes when librarians show willingness to try new things, the students have new opportunities to share their expertise. Seeking out chances for multi-age connections and cross-curricular projects builds flexible thinking, as well as a sense of community in the school. When authentic and engaging learning is honored, exploring and encouraging creativity must be a choice. |
