Portfolio was the most widely preferred top choice for EPAs, but opinions ranged from preference for no EPA to preference for a combination of more than one type. In discussing types of EPAs, respondents were concerned with the value of the experience for students, the impact on faculty workload, and the assessment aspect of different types of EPAs. As programs continually revise their master's degree requirements, these data may provide useful professional opinions across the discipline.
