In the last few years, students of color across the nation have spoken out about their experiences of racism and racial microaggressions on their campuses. They have called on staff, faculty, and administration to change the campus climate. In this call for action, some departments, including the academic library, have often been too slow to present themselves as an active ally to students. This "Best of the Literature" column looks to six articles and a library research guide as examples for providing safety and inclusion for student of color.
