contents Using LastPass to Facilitate the Gathering of Usage Statistics for E-Resources: A Case Study Lowry, Lindsey Use Studies Statistics Library Materials Electronic Libraries Academic Libraries Information Security The efficient curation of usage statistics for electronic collections has remained problematic for librarians. Many libraries employ multiple tools and manual processes in order to consolidate and examine usage data. In 2018, the Electronic Resources unit at The University of Alabama Libraries began using LastPass to store vendor contact information, URLs, and login credentials necessary for collecting vendor-supplied usage data in order to complete two annual projects. The implementation of LastPass into the workflow allowed for a central location to house vendor login and contact information in a cloud server environment and saved time as the staff worked to meet short deadlines.
