When curating their collections school librarians must consider learners with visual, hearing, physical, and cognitive impairments. The school librarian should work with a team (other educators, reading specialists, special education teachers, school diagnosticians, etc.) to ensure a learner's specific needs are fulfilled to support academic learning and reading for enjoyment.
