Essentially, limited just-in-time information literacy instruction is like teaching a kid how to play soccer for seven days out of each year and expecting them to be a great player when they graduate. To move away from this philosophy, Lewis envisions how to create a self-paced digital curriculum rich in data for students, teachers, and librarians and outlines potential best practices for online information literacy instruction.
