Catalogs College Libraries Costs Library Technical Processes The University of Oregon Library accompanied the division and expansion of its 2.8-million-card dictionary catalog with implementation of improved card production and catalog maintenance procedures. The typing, proofreading, filing, and revision time gained by these innovations increased departmental productivity by 12 percent by the end of the fiscal year. (Author)
