This information is usually uncurated, unverified, and presented in ways that make it difficult to discern the source and the veracity of the information. While previous generations had access to similar information, it was more likely to be curated (e.g., library sources), or compiled by professionals (e.g., professional journal reporting, academics), and was also not immediately available.
