Assertiveness Correlation Job Satisfaction Job Skills Librarians Management Development Skill Development Describes an empirical study that examines the relationship between assertiveness and the individual dimensions of job satisfaction for a sample of 68 professional librarians. Results do not support the current emphasis on assertiveness training for overall job satisfaction, although it may be beneficial for low-assertive people. Twenty-four references are listed.
