Codes of Ethics Ethics Librarians Library Science Moral Values Hypocrisy in librarianship, defined as an intentionally deceptive interpretation of ethical principles, is discussed as an attitudinal issue that negatively affects librarianship on individual and institutional levels and interferes with the primary library mission to provide objective dissemination of knowledge.
