Academic Achievement Foreign Students Grade Point Average Graduate Students Higher Education Information Science Library Education Longitudinal Studies Minority Groups Predictor Variables Sex Tables (Data) This study compared graduates and nongraduates of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) using 28 student characteristics as variables. The findings indicate that the optimal predictors of GSLIS grade point average (GPA) and completion of the program are undergraduate GPA, Graduate Record Examination scores, ethnicity, and gender.
