Rothstein, Samuel Codes of Ethics Ethics Librarians Library Associations Library Services Reference Services Discusses the ethical problems of the reference librarian-client relationship in terms of the responsibilities of the librarian and the policies of the library. Codes of ethics are found to be of little use, and other approaches to solving ethical problems--such as identification and discussion of issues--are suggested. (36 references) (MES)
