Conard, FranCina Citation Analysis Citations (References) Creativity Educational Research Elementary Secondary Education Gifted Information Sources Library Material Selection Periodicals Publications Scholarly Journals Serials This study examined all references cited in 1988 and 1989 issues of the "Gifted Child Quarterly" and the "Journal of Creative Behavior." Conclusions indicated a tendency to cite less recent publications than in educational research at large and citation of a wide variety of journal sources. The most frequently cited journals are identified. (DB)
