- Identifying CD-ROM Use Patterns as a Tool for Evaluating User Instruction. Leach, Bruce A. Bibliographic Databases Biological Sciences College Libraries Graduate Students Higher Education Library Instruction Library Research Online Searching Optical Data Disks Tables (Data) Undergraduate Students Use Studies User Needs (Information) Reports on a four-year study of use patterns of CD-ROM databases in a biological sciences library. Results suggest that the library should emphasize point-of-use instruction for first-time searchers and deemphasize workshops. (Contains 11 references.) (KRN)
