Sullivan, Brigit Shea Educational Trends Higher Education Library Education Library Instruction Library Schools School Surveys Units of Study A survey of American Library Association (ALA)-accredited library school programs examined whether library instruction was included as a separate course or unit in their curriculum and compared the results with a 1987 survey. It was found that the percentage offering a separate course has increased, while the percentage offering a unit has decreased. (PEN)
