- Job Satisfaction among Librarians in English-Language Universities in Quebec. Sierpe, Eino Academic Libraries Employee Attitudes Employment Practices Foreign Countries Higher Education Job Satisfaction Librarian Attitudes Surveys Work Attitudes Spector's Job Satisfaction Survey was used to measure the job satisfaction of librarians in the three English-language universities in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Results showed that though librarians working in these institutions are generally satisfied, they are dissatisfied with communication and operating procedures. The relationship between job satisfaction and demographic characteristics was also explored and compared with previous research findings. (Author/AEF)
