In America, almost all animation is produced for and watched by children. In Japan, everyone watches anime, and as the ratings for anime on the Cartoon Network and video and DVD sales show, the audience in America is growing and enthusiastic. This article describes 3 sources of anime that selectors should be aware of when building an anime collection, and lists typical content themes. |
